Born in Davidson County where he resided prior to enlisting in Davidson
County at age 23, 8 August1862, for the war. Died in hospital at
Winchester, Virginia 10 or 15 October1862, of disease.
If he were 23 in 1862 he would have been born in1839. His marriage bond
was in 1854. Since I am sure he did not marry when he was 15, Ithink his
birth date of 1834 is correct and he was 28 when he enlisted.
