Julius' gravestone tells us that he was a minister as the name carved on it is "Rev. J. C. Gregson". He likely preached at St.Paul's Church where he and his 1st wife are buried. We also know, from census records, that he was a farmer in Randolph County, North Carolina. In about 1833 he married a Randolph County girl, Harlina "Hollan" Briles. 1. John LeRoy Gregson "John" [Find A Grave Memorial # 16960480] (b. 13 Apr 1872[NOTE: Year of birth on his gravestone is 1873 but the Gregson Family Bible has his birth year recorded as 1872]/d. 22 Mar 1941 in Elizabeth City, Pasquotank, NC) - he married first to Eliza Ann "Annie" Dosier and 2nd to Lucy Mariam Gregory [Lucy's Find A Grave Memorial # is 16960472].

If Carl was married his wife's identity is unknown.
