Tommie Edward Eason Connally, age 91, of Waxahachie, passed away Thursday, June 4, 2009 at Trinity Mission Health and Rehab in Italy. She was born September 3, 1917 in Garrett, Texas to James Thomas and Ella Isabell (Carter) Eason. Tommie was a lifetime member of the College Street Church of Christ. She retired from Carlisle Chevrolet after 48 years of service.Survivors include two daughters, Ann Connally Coleman and Frank Brumbaugh and Barbara Jane Connally all of Fort Worth; niece, Ellen Connally Hays and her husband, Wayne of Waxahachie; grandchildren, David Wayne Townson of Bedford and Candice Ann Townson of Little Elm; great grandchildren, Tayler Ann and Collin Michael. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Thomas Eason and Ella Isabell Eason; husband, James Connally and sister, Esther Ruth Connally. Pallbearers will be Don Coursey, Dr. Bob Cope, Tres Blankenbeckler, Wayne Hays, Jr., Frank Brumbaugh and Delton Ake. Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Rabe and Charles Townson. Funeral services will be 11AM Monday, June 8, 2009 in the chapel of Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Burial Park.
